1 Evaluation Methodology

Heuristic evaluation is a group method for examining a user interface design for its potential sources of useability problems. It is usually done in a group since experience has shown that more brains have a wider chance of finding different problems.

Each individual evaluator inspects the interface alone. To prevent unbiased evaluations and to ensure independent research, evaulators are only allowed to collaberate once all evaulations have been completed.

Each evaluator checks the interface design against the heuristics (usability principles) and spends approximately 1-2 hours working alone.

2 User Profiles

Users that just want to get informed about, how to get to the store, when they have opened, etc.
Users that want to shop online
Users that are looking for a specific product, for availability / cheapest price
Users that are looking for a specific type of product (eg what laptops do they offer, ...)
Potential Employees
Users that want to get informed about a product (read reviews, etc)
Users that wants to know about the current "special offers"
Users that just want to "browse" through the page / through the products.
